Behind The Scenes

The Cinematic Production Scale
Sierra treated the creation of Gabriel Knight 2 like a premium Hollywood film production. Jane Jensen wrote an exhaustive, 600-page script that required multi week physical shooting schedules across sets in California and on-location footage arrays in Germany, hiring professional screen actors like Dean Erickson.

The Wagnerian Audio Masterpiece
Composer Robert Holmes completely matched Jensen''s heavy gothic script by composing a full scale, original, multi-act neo-Romantic opera within the game structure. Titled "The Lost Opera of Ludwig II," this haunting musical piece served as both a critical environmental puzzle path and a thematic emotional framework, mixed cleanly down into high-quality digital streams.
