You must navigate the hostile jungles of Titan, the dystopian cyberpunk slums of New Washington, and eventually Earth itself. The gameplay is a methodical mix of combat, puzzle-solving, and precise platforming, requiring you to carefully plan jumps, manage your energy shield, and engage in intense shootouts.

Behind The Scenes
Rotoscoped Brilliance
Following the animation legacy of Prince of Persia, Delphine Software's Paul Cuisset utilized rotoscoping (tracing over live-action video footage) to give Conrad incredibly fluid, realistic animations. Watching him draw his gun, execute a running leap, or tuck into a roll felt like watching a movie unfold on your monitor.
Cinematic Storytelling
The game utilized gorgeous, flat-shaded vector graphics for its cutscenes, allowing for dramatic camera angles and storytelling that felt mature and highly stylized. It was a massive leap forward for narrative presentation in action games, pushing the medium toward the cinematic experiences we expect today.
